“ The food at the restaurant is quite decent. I particularly enjoy the presentation of the turon - the way it's plated makes it very appealing, and it's also delicious to eat. The palabok is also quite tasty. The pork in the pork sinigang is tender and flavorful. I really hope that sisig can serve super sizzling and really crispy sisig. ”
“ Very authentic filipino restaurant. The food are amazing, very tasty, good value and generous serving size. Would definitely come back and recommend this place to a friend. ”
“ Overall 7/7 A diverse menu with authentic dishes approved by some filo friends. Also fantastic value for money. So many of the dishes go fantastic with rice so recommend getting a big crowd and ordering a ton to share. Highlight is the fried plate of meat (photo 4) and the pork knuckle. ”
“ We don't indulge much into Filipino cuisine, so it was very interesting experience. Food was tasty, slightly different flavours to what I'm used to, but very positive overall. Crispy pasta surely a highlight if you like fatty pork, that is ;) ”
“ I haven't been here in a little while and last time I was here I had a boodle. Returned to just have a simple meal and it was a great decision. The food was all good. Sizzling sisig and crispy pata were all really done well. I really have to come here more often especially to try the halo halo and flan. The garlic rice is a must everytime you come here. I could eat it with nothing and it would still be great. ”
“ Overall the food is good but not excellent. I haven't tried Phillipines cuisine before so I am not sure if the food here is authentic. We tried chicken aboro, fried milkfish, tamarind soup (with prawns) and all of them were okay. The Thai red tea was below average unfortunately. It was not hot enough so when I poured the milk in it quickly became cold, and it tasted so ordinary. (Milk and tea like you dip lipton black tea tea bag in boiled water and add some full cream milk, it tasted like that) ”
“ It's a fantastic little spot in Lidcombe for your Filipino flavours, especially if you love the sourness of their dishes then the Sinigang is definitely for you. The prices are great for couples, I would encourage you to bring your mates for a banana leaf feast with their menu options. If you haven't experienced Filipino food before this is a great recommended first step!! Will return! Delicious indeed. My favourite dish will always be the Palabo ”
